Automatic pipe spool welding robot
Our Plymouth workshop benefits from the use of automatic pipe spool welding robot (Rotoweld 3.0) offering improved weld quality, safety and efficiency. Used for pipe spool fabrication and small pressure vessel manufacturing, it uses advanced automatic welding technology and robotics to create high-quality welds. Machining
Our Profile Cutting capabilities allow us to cut highly intricate parts to be produced using the latest technology including water jet cutting and high-definition plasma CNC controlled machines. With cutting thicknesses up to 150mm we can produce one offs or multiple component parts as required.
We operate a 260-amp high-definition plasma profiler and benefit from two water jet profiling machines (located in Plymouth and Aberdeen). We can cut almost any material to very high tolerances with guaranteed precision. Water jet cutting offers a superior cut quality with no mechanical or heat stress or edge finishing.
In our fabrication shops we also have bending CNC machines, allowing sheets to be precision formed or bent with 100 Tonne capacity to achieve the correct part first time.
